Tip/Fun-Fact: One of the highlights of the tour is the magnificent Husar Temple at the summit of the Kleiner Anninger. It was built in 1813 as a “temple to the glory of war” and is dedicated to those who fell in the Battle of Aspern.

Opis trasy Circular route to the Husar Temple
Starting at the railway station, we will walk through the town and along An der Goldenen Stiege, up to the Waldgasthaus Bockerl inn. From there, we will head south (red route) to Priessnitzgasse, turning right at Rehgraben, continuing to an intersection, and then going straight on the Gasthaus Krauste Linde inn (red, blue, No. 46). From here, we will follow Anningerstrasse towards Breite Föhre (red & green routes). After approx. 700 m, we will turn left onto Grenzweg until we reach the lumber yard. From there, we will turn right and go along Pfenningsteinhöhle (yellow route) until we are just below the Husar Temple. We will follow the route (red & blue) and will reach an intersection after approx. 3 km. We will go past Mödling Castle, cross the B11 and then turn left onto Liechtensteinstrasse. After that, we will turn right again onto the Gamseckersteig route (green) and go up to the black tower. The Sternwanderweg route (red, No. 41) leads downhill to the Jubiläumspark, along Kobenzlweg and Kalenderweg (No. 448) to the car park. The Elfriede-Ott Promenade will bring us back to Mödling.
