Opis
The owl trail leads along a stream into the valley head of the Windischbachau and is an experience for the whole family. Remarkable facts about the five owl species found in the Dürrenstein Wilderness Area - eagle owl, hawk owl, tawny owl, rough-legged owl and pygmy owl - are presented along the trail at eight stations. The scenic attractions and the structures of the second Vienna High Spring Water Pipeline also make a visit worthwhile. The trail runs partly on an asphalt road, then along a forest road and may also be used by bicycle.
