Anninger Schutzhaus

The Anninger area south of Vienna and especially the ANNINGERSCHUTZHAUS have always been a popular excursion destination in the Vienna Woods.

Taken over by the Maresch family in 1991, the Schutzhaus is lovingly looked after and is known for its culinary delights. Whether you want to stop in after a leisurely hike, or you are planning a company event or a birthday party.

Even the little guests are catered for. Directly in front of the house there is a "nature playground" to let off steam.
Enjoy nature: hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing; on the Anninger you will find your balance.

Our offer goes far beyond the usual. Since the chef is a gourmet himself, we use a lot of regional and seasonal products in our kitchen to the best of our knowledge. Thus, game specialities and home-made dishes are always on our menu. When it comes to drinks, we also prefer regional suppliers, but we also use homemade elder juice.

Via Prießnitztal: Mödling --> Prießnitzgasse car park --> forest road (only footpath), walking time approx. 1.5 hrs. approx. 5km, approx. 400 metres altitude difference.
Via Richardshof: Gumpoldskirchen/Richardshof --> walking time approx. 1 hour, approx. 3.5km, approx. 350 metres altitude difference.
Via Gaaden: Berggasse/Am Anninger --> walking time approx. 2 hrs, approx. 6km, approx. 400 metres altitude difference
Via Hinterbrühl: Kientalgasse --> walking time approx. 1 hour, approx. 4km, approx. 400 metres altitude difference.
